Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa
Day 2: Trekking in Sapa
Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa (L/D)
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi around 7am and begin your drive to Sapa. You’ll arrive in Sapa Town around 12:30pm where our guide will welcome you and bring you to a local restaurant for lunch. Your trek then begins as you set out down into Muong Hoa Valley at around 1:30pm. Here you will follow along the Muong Hoa River and pass through Cat Cat Village along with the nearby Cat Cat Waterfall.
After visiting the waterfall and exploring the village, you will return to Sapa with enough time to peruse the market before having dinner and spending the night at a hotel in town.
This day includes 7 to 10 kilometres of trekking
Day 2: Trekking in Sapa (B/L/D)
Today your adventure begins in earnest, with trekking through rice paddies, flower valleys and Black Hmong villages, all surrounded by panoramic and breath-taking views. After lunch you will continue to Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Zay, where you’ll get to learn much about their culture and way of life and is also where you will have dinner and stay the night with a local family in a homestay.
This day includes 15 to 17 kilometres of trekking.
Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast at the homestay, you set out for Giang Ta Chai Village. Here you will get to meet and learn about the Red Dao, before being collected by our car and returned to Sapa Town. Here you’ll be free to explore the town before returning to Hanoi by car at 3pm, arriving in the capital at around 8:30pm.
