Day 1: Sapa Town – Fansipan Climbing
After breakfast you will set out on your trip, starting with a bus ride at around 9:30am which will carry you the 17km to Tram Ton Pass, which at 2100m above sea level is the highest pass in the country. You will then make a stop at the Silver Waterfall, where you can enjoy the scenery before beginning the strenuous trek up the mountain.
After roughly 6 hours of trekking through primitive jungles and bamboo forests, and across small streams you will have reached an altitude of about 2200 meters. This is where you will pitch your tent, enjoy dinner and spend the evening and night under the stars.
Day 2: Fansipan Summit – Sapa Town
In order to catch the sunrise from the peak, the second day starts early. You’ll set out from your camp between 3am and 4am for a gruelling four hour climb, reaching the top just in time to see the sun crest the horizon and bathe the clouds in gold. You’ll get to spend around an hour at the summit taking in the views, before having lunch and beginning the descent to Sin Chai Village. You’ll arrive in Sin Chai at around 4pm, where our driver will be waiting to take you back to Sapa Town.
